"Order placed with ease. Shipping and delivery were accurate and timely. And-nothing was broken. (Ordered polish pottery from a different web site it the past, and had to return twice, because items were cracked.)" Robin F., NJ

"I've made several purchases from this merchant. Items are always wrapped and packed with care. None of the pottery I've purchased has ever arrived broken or cracked. The variety of patterns and pieces is one of the best I've seen online. The website is easy to navigate as is the check out process. I'm certain I'll be returning again and again to make purchases of my favorite patterns." Patricia J., CA

How to brew a perfect tea

Preparing loose leaf tea requires more than just boiling water in a tea kettle. You need 4 tools to brew loose tea: a strainer, a thermometer, a metal or ceramic teapot, and mugs. Teapots with strainer inserts work great but aren't necessary.

For ideal flavor, each type of tea requires different water temperatures and steeping times. Black tea taste best steeped in boiling water (about 180 degrees) for just 2-3 minutes. Brew oolong in 190degrees water for 4 minutes.

Use 1-1.5 teaspoons dry tea for every 6oz (3/4 cup) of water. First, place the tea in a teapot, then pour the hot water over the tea and allow it to steep. Strain the brew to remove the leaves into mugs. Black tea can be infused only once, but green tea can be steeped 2-3 times, oolong, 4-5 times.

Tea leaves are sensitive to air, odors and moisture. To keep the tea fresh, store it in a stainless steel or ceramic containers away from heat and sunlight. If stored properly, black teas should keep for up to 1 year, while green and oolong teas will last 6 month to a year.
